Scoot Boot trail gaiters – PAIR. These come standard with the boots and can also be purchased separately. Scoot Boot trail gaiters go over the heel strap as cushioning between the strap and the horse. Gaiters should always be used when breaking in your boots. Once boots are broken in, some horses can go without gaiters – this should always be tested for each individual horse by doing a short ride without gaiters and gradually increasing mileage speed.
